Alpine ski diary · U10 to FIS

Turn every training day into a clear next step.

The alpine ski diary that brings athlete reflections, coach feedback and progress reports together — from U10 to FIS.

Free for coaches. Athletes join by invitation.

Why DOME5

What a training log alone does not give you.

Athlete and coach perspectives, side by side

The athlete’s experience and the coach’s observation of the same session sit next to each other. You see where you agree and where you differ — DOME5 does not decide who is right.

Clear progress reports

Monthly to annual PDF reports open with a colour summary — on target, watch, improve — then show what went well, what to improve and the targets for the next period. Parents receive a version without diary entries.

Agreed actions with follow-up

One concrete change at a time: the coach proposes it, the athlete — or a guardian up to U14 — approves it, and the outcome is checked on an agreed date.

How it works

Record → Review together → Agree and follow up.

  1. Record

Athletes write a short entry before and after training. Coaches write once for the whole group and tap the athletes each point applies to.

  2. Review together

Both entries for the same session are shown side by side. Reports bring a month, a quarter or a season together.

  3. Agree and follow up

Agree one next step, record the outcome on the review date, and see it again in the next report.

Roles and privacy

Who sees what?

The daily diary stays between the athlete and their coaches. Parents receive reports.

Athlete

Writes the daily diary, ticks the errors they noticed, plans races and approves agreed actions.

  • Sees their own diary, documents and reports, and their coaches’ view of the same sessions
  • Chooses which coaches are connected and whether a coach may see earlier history

Coach

Writes observations, enters group sessions, proposes actions and issues reports.

  • Sees only athletes who accepted their invitation — earlier history only with permission
  • Never sees other coaches’ notes; access ends when the connection ends

Parent / Guardian

Gives consent for a child under 14 and receives the reports the coach issues.

  • Receives reports as a version without diary entries; never sees the daily diary, documents or device readings
  • A guardian also manages the child’s profile and coach connections and, up to U14, approves agreed actions

Questions

Good to know.

How do I get access?

Request access with your email address. The administrator reviews the request, and you receive an email when your access is ready. Join through the invitation link your coach sends you. There is no separate sign-up.

What does it cost, and who pays?

Coaches use DOME5 free. The athlete subscription is planned at €19.90 a month or €199 a year, paid by the athlete or, for a child, a guardian. Payments are not active yet, so nobody is charged at the moment.

Who can read the diary?

The athlete and the coaches they are connected to. Coaches never see each other’s notes, and earlier history needs the athlete’s permission. Parents receive reports without diary entries. See Who sees what? and the privacy policy.

Does it work with my watch?

Yes, with any watch: athletes enter sleep, heart rate, HRV and workouts by hand in the daily diary. Automatic import from WHOOP, Garmin, Polar and Suunto is built but not active yet.

Does DOME5 assess talent or health?

No. DOME5 organises what athletes and coaches write. It gives no medical advice, no diagnosis and no talent score, and it cannot promise results.
