Terms of use
Last updated: 29 October 2026
These terms apply to the use of DOME5 at domefive.com, provided by Bostjan Cerkovnik, 5542 Flachau, Austria (“we”). By creating an account or using the application, you accept these terms.
1. The service
DOME5 is an application for alpine ski athletes, their parents or guardians and coaches. It offers separate athlete and coach diaries, race plans, documents, measurements, agreed actions and PDF reports. Diary entries are organised by season (1 June – 31 May); entries of past seasons are archived and stay readable but can no longer be changed. DOME5 is currently in early access: features may change and some, such as online payments and email notifications, are not yet available.
2. Accounts and access
- Each person uses their own account and their own email address; sign-in codes must not be shared.
- Coaches receive access after the administrator approves their account. Athletes and parents receive access through a coach’s invitation link.
- For athletes under 14, a parent or guardian must agree to the use of DOME5. A guardian sees issued reports, manages the child’s profile and coach connections and, for children up to U14, can approve agreed actions, but does not see the daily diary. A report recipient sees issued reports only.
- Coaches see data only of athletes connected through their invitation. The athlete can end a connection at any time.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the entries, documents and other content you add. You allow us to store and process this content only to provide DOME5 to you and to the people you approve. You may only upload content you are allowed to share.
4. Responsibilities of coaches
Coaches invite an athlete under 14 only with a parent’s or guardian’s agreement, confirm it in the app and invite the parent as well. They treat athlete data as confidential, use it only to support the athlete’s development and do not pass on reports or other data without the athlete’s consent. Downloaded reports remain the coach’s responsibility. When writing one entry for several athletes, coaches do not name other athletes in the shared text.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse DOME5. In particular, do not try to access other people’s data, disrupt the service, upload harmful files or use the application for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. No medical advice
DOME5 records and organises information. It does not provide medical, nutritional or psychological advice, and patterns in the data do not prove causes. Readings from WHOOP or other devices are not a medical diagnosis. For health concerns, consult a doctor or other qualified professional.
7. Price and payment
Coaches use DOME5 free of charge. The planned subscription for athletes is shown on the website. Payments are not active yet. Before any paid subscription starts, we will publish the final price including VAT, the billing period, cancellation and your right of withdrawal, and you will confirm them before paying. How billing, cancellation and withdrawal work is described on the pricing page.
8. Availability
We work to keep DOME5 available and secure and make daily backups, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may carry out maintenance and change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service, we will let you know in good time so that you can download your reports.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence, we are liable only for the breach of essential obligations and only for typical, foreseeable damage. Mandatory consumer protection rights remain unaffected.
10. Ending your account
You can ask to close your account at any time by writing to info@domefive.com. We delete the data as described in the privacy policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We will tell account holders about changes before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can close your account.
12. Applicable law
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your country of residence.
